SECOND COINAGE (1526-1544). 'SOVEREIGN' TYPE of CANTERBURY. mm.catherine wheel (1533-44), T C beside shield (Archbishop Cranmer). The only others I can locate in private hands are Shuttlewood 137 and SNC Feb.'07 HS2786.
Reverse a little off centre and lightly double struck with some grazing on the obverse but full, with a clear portrait and mint mark. EXTREMELY RARE and much, much better than either of the other two.
